Careful planning
| The success of each of our tours is based upon careful,

Careful attention is given to the overall pace of the tour and the rhythm of each
day. Whenever possible, sightseeing visits are scheduled to avoid crowds, and free
time is built in for individual, serendipitous discovery.

First-class hotels
Hotels are chosen on the basis of comfort, service, and central location. They
are always first-class, but sometimes, depending on the destination, a deluxe hotel may be
preferred. Location is especially important, because our travelers want to enjoy the
freedom to come and go as they like, including the ease of exploring on their own.

Fine dining
| Full-course meals are included in every tour, often in fine restaurants as
well as beloved local trattorie and bistrots. Dining spots are chosen for their
cuisine, the quality of ingredients and their ambiance. In every case,
Travel-Designs works directly and closely with the chef to create interesting menus for
the group. In fact, group meals are one of the most popular aspects of our
tours! Substantial buffet or Continental breakfasts are served daily in our
hotels. Special dietary needs can almost always be satisfied. There also are
opportunities for you to enjoy local cuisine on your own, and suggestions for dining out
are included in the materials prepared for each tour.
